description for book 1

AppleTreece and the Revelation of the Root

Book One of the AppleTreece Trilogy

Before AppleTreece could understand her gifts, she had to discover her roots.

Growing up in Little Rock, Arkansas, AppleTreece has always sensed things other people don't. Her dreams sometimes feel like messages. She knows things she can't explain. And whenever she sits beneath the trees, she feels as though something—or someone—is listening.

Then one extraordinary encounter with a mysterious golden apple changes everything.

In an instant, AppleTreece is transported far from home into a breathtaking magical realm filled with floating kingdoms, ancient secrets, enchanted forests, and a magnificent Golden Tree whose glowing roots seem to recognize her.

There she meets Ceasar and AmunRa, two powerful griffins who become her unlikely companions and protectors. But when AppleTreece begins receiving visions from the ancient roots beneath the Golden Tree, she discovers that finding her way home may not be the real reason she was brought there.

The very things that once made AppleTreece wonder why she was different may actually be clues to who she has always been.

As the roots reveal their secrets, an ordinary girl from Little Rock begins an extraordinary journey toward becoming the Oracle and Keeper of the Tree.

But first, she must answer the most important question of all:

Who am I?

The Revelation of the Root is a magical adventure about identity, intuition, courage, belonging, and discovering that sometimes you don't have to become someone new, you have to remember who you already are.

ROOT — Know Who You Are.
